This course is designed for individuals applying for a New York State pistol permit.

  • Gun Safety Rules

  • Nomenclature of the pistol

  • Difference between Revolver and Semi Automatic pistol

  • Proper storage and maintenance of a firearm

Basic Live Fire Course
Basic Live Fire Course

This course is for individuals starting to get into shooting, and applying for a concealed carry permit for New York State. Students will fire 150 to 200 rounds.

This course is designed for individuals' that have completed Defensive Pistol 101 and are looking to improve their shooting and handling skills.

This course is designed for individuals' that have completed Defensive Pistol 101,102,103. This is a fast pace decision making course. This course puts students in a close quarter combat situation.

Tactical Carbine

This course is designed for individuals' that have completed Basic Carbine and are looking to improve their shooting and handling skills.

  • Transition shooting (long barrel to handgun)

  • Combat loading

  • Moving and shooting

  • Combat course

Force on Force Scenarios
Force on force scenarios
Force on Force Scenarios

This course is force on force simunition scenario based training. Individuals are placed in a scenario where they have a natural reaction to an event. This reaction is taped and then reviewed by the Instructors and discussed with individuals covering pros, cons, and the Law.

All safety equipment, firearms, and ammunition is provided by Double Eagle. To utilize a Pistol during the scenarios, individuals must have a valid NYS Pistol Permit. If an individual does not possess the proper Permit, there are Long Guns available for use.

  • NYS Penal Law Article 35 (Use of Force)

  • Situations awareness

  • Body alarm reactions

  • Survival mindset

  • High stress management

  • Applied decision making

Cost: $200 per student

This course is force on force simunition scenario based training. Individuals are placed in a scenario where they have a natural reaction to an event. This reaction is taped and then reviewed by the Instructors and discussed with individuals covering pros, cons, and the Law.

This course is designed for retired law enforcement who are looking for their HR218 certification and ID card.

​

Qualification course includes:

  • 25 yards, 8 rounds, 25 seconds

  • 15 yards, 12 rounds, 25 seconds

  • 7 yards, 2 rounds on command, total of 6 rounds

  • 7 yards, 12 rounds, 15 seconds

  • 3 yards, on command fire 2 rounds, point shoulder shoot, total of 6 rounds

  • 3 yards, 6 rounds, 6 seconds

Cost: $65 per gun (additional qualification attempts are $40 per attempt as needed)

​
